Shortly after 11:00, units were dispatched for a head on collision on Tidewater Trail. On arrival, units found a head-on collision with heavy damage. A compact car had collided with a pickup truck pulling a trailer with landscaping equipment, with both vehicles ending up in the yards of residences adjacent to the road. Both drivers were transported to Mary Washington Hospital. A passenger in one of the vehicles originally denied injury, but was later transported also.
