About 15:02 on Sunday Medic 1-2 was dispatched to a MVA major with a possible brush fire at Smith Station and Piedmont. The vehicle was said to be driven by an "unresponsive driver". The driver was pulled over by multiple officers at Spotsylvania pkwy and Smith Station Rd. The driver said he was weak and dizzy, so he was trying to get home. He said that he had no idea that he hit anything. (His bumper was barely hanging on when 1-2 arrived) He had been outside in the heat all day and was very dehydrated. He was transported to Mary Washington Hospital.
