Vehicle Overturned With Ejection I-95 Southbound at the 126

On April 3rd at approximately 0100 hours units were dispatched for multiple reports of a vehicle overturned several times on the I-95 southbound exit ramp at the 126 mile marker. Aircare 2 was pre-alerted at time of call. Upon EMS arrival 1 patient was found ejected from the vehicle and initially unresponsive. Aircare 2 was launched, and Engine 5 was placed on the call to establish an LZ. The patient was fully immobilized, and treatment for trauma was started by Spotsylvania Volunteer medics. The patient was transported to the Southpoint LZ, and PHI Aircare 2 transported the patient to a Level 1 trauma center.
