The call came in about 12:10 on September 4 for a 2-car MVC with rollover at Courthouse Road near Smith Station Road. Crews arrived to find a pickup on the left side of the road, and overturned SUV on the right side. The actual events of the crash were still under investigation, but initial witness reports are that the pickup changed lanes and struck the SUV in the rear/side, causing the SUV to somehow flop/ride up onto the pickup's nose then roll over. Amazingly, both drivers were evaluated at the scene, denied any injury, and refused treatment or transport.
