Shortly after 15:30, career units were dispatched for a single vehicle accident on Sheppards Rd. The Fire/EMS units in Partlow were already on another call, so the nearest units were dispatched from Station 8. SVFD Sergeant 3 was in the area and responded POV, as did Response 3 from SVRS.
On arrival, only a small hole in a fence was visible. The accident vehicle was stationary several hundred feet out in a field. The single occupant stated that he had a sneezed several times in a row, and driven off the road because of them, taking out a 8 inch pine tree in the process. Other than some minor scrapes on his hands, he denied injury, and signed a patient refusal. The scene was turned over to law enforcement, and all units cleared by 16:15.
