SVRS Celebrates at the Stars & Stripes Spectacular

SVRS helped Spotsylvania County celebrate the Fourth of July at the 4'th annual Stars & Stripes Spectacular. The squad ramped up to staff a Recruitment booth, a Public Safety booth, a first aid station, and an ambulance and equipment display. The bike patrol circulated through the estimated 20,000 people who turned out for the celebration. A pot luck dinner was jointly held with the Spotsylvania Volunteer Fire Department, providing good food throughout the day for all participating. After dark, everyone settled in to watch an excellent fireworks display!
