| Saturday, January 20, Spotsylvania Volunteer Fire & Rescue Agencies provided Spotsylvania County in its entirety with Fire and EMS coverage. Chancellor Volunteer Fire and Rescue took the night off to enjoy their annual banquet. Chancellor provides Fire and EMS services for Spotsylvania County by staffing stations 5, 6, and 7. Spotsylvania Volunteers provided extra coverage by staffing their stations from 3PM Saturday to midnight, while others until 9AM Sunday morning. We would like thank our members who staffed those stations, and put in the extra shifts.
We would also like to extend our appriciation and thanks to Chancellor. When Spotsy Volunteers arrived to the stations, members found trucks to be stocked and checked by those Chancellor members who were on duty. It was also arranged that those providing coverage had meals provided for them by Chancellor agency. Thank You to Chancellor Volunteer Fire and Rescue for the hospitality. |
