On April 25th, the Spotsylvania County Sheriff’s Office hosted a benefit for the Virginia Wounded Warrior Program. This benefit was held at the Spotsylvania Towne Centre. Businesses from around our community setup booths to help educate our veterans and general public of services that are available to them. All donations from the event were donated directly to the Virginia Wounded Warrior Program. The Spotsylvania Volunteer Rescue Squad was able to support this event by providing an aid station, staffed by four EMTs. We also setup an information/recruitment table and handed out coloring books, first aid info, first aid kits and SVRS applications.
