SVRS along with other local agencies offers continual EMS training. This includes the initial courses needed for those individuals new to EMS, as well as continuing education credits for those providers who are already certified. EMT Basic Class

Spotsylvania Volunteer Rescue Squad will sponsor the spring EMT Basic class.  The course will be conducted at the Shannon Training Center beginning March 14'th.  The course is open to all.  The course schedule, course prerequisites, and application can be downloaded here.

Below is a list of upcoming training classes.  Recently added items are in RED.  All classes will be held at the Spotsylvania VRS Training Center (the old Rescue Station 1) unless otherwise noted.  Included are a number of opportunities to get Category 1 hours for your EMT-B recertification:  Future classes include Peds ITLS, Skills Fair Days for both ALS and BLS.
