SVRS Mourns the Passing of Life Member Stan Czajkowski

Life Member Stan Czajkowski died today after a long battle with cancer. He was a career firefighter in New York and upon his retirement, he moved to Virginia. He chose to continue his service with SVRS and joined the agency in 1999. He held the office of RL2 for two years, and in 2009 was voted in as a Life Member. Stan was also a driver preceptor. He was always willing to lend a hand, a friendly ear, a smile, or anything else that was needed. He was a vital and faithful part of the Squad until his diagnosis with cancer and his health concerns forced him to curtail his squad participation. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family and friends in this time. He will be missed greatly. Arrangements are incomplete and will be handled at Found and Sons.
