| Congratulations to Bob Morrison for winning the Outstanding Contibutiion to EMS for Children.
Bob has been delivering the program to second graders in 5 Spotsylvania County
schools since 2005 and reaches an average of 975 children every year. Through his educating
children at an early age on how to use 9-1-1 correctly, youngsters can act quickly to obtain the necessary public safety assistance they need to save lives and property. In turn this education proactively worked to decrease the incidents of accidental and prank 9-1-1 calls. The reduction of these types of incidents saves our government millions of dollars but has also helped to maintain the integrity of the 9-1-1 emergency network.
Bob will now move forward for the Governor's Award! |
